Dead eyes, sallow and pallid in the moonlight nights.
Spent, sedated, self-medicated.
Bury my mind under deceiving thoughts,
And I'll swallow every last fucking drop.
Entangled and ensnared,
I'm trapped in razor wire.
Close my eyes and hope the world just fades away.
Porcelain grey it lingers,
And the monster tightens its grip around my shoulders.
The death rattles are nothing new,
I walked alone barefoot for years
Buried deep, with a hand that turns and turns.
Held down by countless phantom limbs,
Paralysed by the fear.
The city decays and the walls start to fall in.
Dwell in the fire,
Take pleasure in the pain.
Serves as a reminder,
There's no one left to blame.
Dwell in the fire,
Take pleasure in the pain.
Serves as a reminder,
My pulse remains the same.
Dead eyes, sallow and pallid in the moonlight nights.
Entangled and ensared,
I'm trapped in razor wire.
Close my eyes and hope the world just fades away.
And the world just fades away.

Hashshashin's music is a bold fusion of sound and style, excitingly blending power with finesse to create sounds from another world. Urgent compositions possessing thunderous speed are swiftly countered by moody passages where darkness lies – each track attracts with unique attributes. Michael Reilly

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
